Sandra Lynn Releases Fight Ep: Chapter 1 of Three-Part Series

CMT Exclusively Premieres Music Video for Focus Track, “Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar,” and Song Also Being Featured On Spotify

(Nashville, Tenn. – January 19, 2018) – Country music singer-songwriter, Sandra Lynn released a new EP, titled FIGHT, today on iTunesSpotifyGooglePlay, and Amazon. The new release is Chapter One of a three-part series, to be released throughout 2018, and features four new tracks, including “Fight,” “Rest In Pieces,” the EP focus track “Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar,” and “From The Outside.”
FIGHT is a testament to how Lynn has grown as an artist as she reveals deeply felt emotions and puts them into the music. “These songs touch on the vulnerable and intimate details we ladies like to talk about behind closed doors with one another,” she says of FIGHT, which features contributions from hit songwriters such as Rachel Proctor, Shane Stevens, Matthew West, and Melissa Pierce, including her collaboration with Jake Scott (“From The Outside”).
“The songs convey the push and pull in relationships, which take work; sometimes they work out and sometimes they don’t. I want listeners to feel that friction, but to also come away with a hopeful feeling that what’s meant to be will always work itself out. Fight for what you love, work for what you want, and don’t take relationships for granted.”
Taken together, the songs on FIGHT tell a story about a couple who are struggling to save their relationship (“Fight”), but eventually realize they must call it quits (“Rest In Pieces), though one isn’t so sure they’re over their former love when someone new tries to sweep them off their feet (“Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar”). The final song, “From The Outside,” delivers the larger message of Lynn’s story, which is that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. “What might appear to be happy on the outside might, in fact, be broken on the inside,” she says. “I hope the takeaway is not to wish for someone else’s life because you never know what goes on behind closed doors.”
Lynn’s new song, “Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar” is set to receive support through Spotify, and the music video is set to debut exclusively today via CMT.com and CMT’s 24/7 digital all-music channel, CMT Music. Click here to view the video.
FIGHT was recorded at Ocean Way Studios and is produced by Grammy award-winning producer/engineer, Ben Fowler (Eric Clapton, Michael McDonald, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sara Evans, Maddie and Tae).
Back in 2017, in mixing tradition with her own contemporary flair, Lynn released “Hey California;” which debuted on Radio Disney. The video for the single aired on Great American Country (GAC), The Country Network, The Heartland Network, and on CMT Music.
Lynn currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, where she’s immersed herself among Music City’s creative community and has worked with some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters and producers including Rascal Flatts,’ Jay DeMarcus, Dave Brainard, Ross Copperman, Jeremy Spillman, Hall of Famers Gary Burr and Tom Schuyler, Tia Sillers, Victoria Banks, Paul Brandt, Mike Mobley, as well as ascending young songwriters Bobby Hamrick and Dave Pittenger. Lynn has also made a name for herself on the live circuit, opening for Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Cole Swindell, Kenny Rogers, Jana Kramer, and Josh Thompson, as well as performing during CMA Fest, the KNE New Music Stage at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, and playing local Nashville venues, including 3rd and Lindsley and The Listening Room.

Tim Elliott Sends Reminder “I Got You” with New Single Now Available

(Nashville, Tennessee – January 10, 2018) Two-time North Carolina Artist of the Year, Tim Elliott, has dropped a new single, “I Got You” to Country radio and digital retailers.  The blue-collar Country artist, who has built a solid touring foundation across the Southeast, commented about the new release, stating, “It’s almost overwhelming to see my little song connect with people so soon. Just today, a new fan from New Jersey sent me a Facebook message that said ‘Thank you for this song, my husband got out of bed tonight and asked me to dance.’ Those are the moments that make all this hard work really mean something.” The single made it to the Top 5 Most Added on MusicRow’s CountryBreakout Chart on the day of its release.

“I Got You” is now available through The Orchard/Sony (available here). The single is the first ballad from Elliott, following his two up-tempo singles “Start Pourin’ Whiskey On It” and “What’s Not To Love,” both released in 2017. “I Got You” was written by Tim Elliott and Bill Diluigi and produced by Grammy-nominated, Kent Wells.

Through his previous releases, Elliott has garnered over one million streams through Spotify. His music incorporates a diverse range of musical tastes and influences, including Hank Williams Sr., Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis. Elliott is the two-time winner of Country Artist of the Year for the Carolina Music Awards, in which both North and South Carolina are included. He has toured the country performing over 200 dates. This year alone, he’s opened shows for Chris Young, Dustin Lynch, Frankie Ballard, Rodney Atkins, Tracy Lawrence, Kane Brown, Sammy Kershaw and others.

Fans can also expect to hear more music from Tim Elliott on his EP, to be released this year.

Tim Elliott is the grandson of a West Virginia coal miner who also had a heart for music.  The backbreaking, dirty work didn’t stifle Elliott’s grandfather’s pursuit of playing music and serves as the backdrop of Elliott’s story; Bluegrass jam sessions were a regular occurrence on Saturday nights. Elliott mastered the acoustic guitar at the age of eight and banjo, mandolin and keyboard followed. Over the last few months, Elliott has traveled the country on a radio tour in support of the single release. Most recently, the Boone, North Carolina-native has visited Iowa, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, and Connecticut. He plans to continue traveling and visiting new stations in 2018. “I am really looking forward to kicking off the “I Got You” radio tour. I have met so many great people across the country. I look forward to revisiting my radio friends and making new ones!” said Tim.

Elliott is one of the founding members of Matthew 25:35, Inc., a non-profit organization which raises money to assist people in the community with a specific emphasis on feeding the hungry. He is also a passionate advocate for Cohn’s disease awareness; a disease that affects over 200,000 people each year in the US.
