(Nashville, Tenn. August 13, 2018) – Country singer-songwriter Daniel E. Johnson has released his debut single “American Hearts,” off of his new 6-track EP, All We Ever Knew, which is scheduled for release on August 31, 2018, and is now available for pre-order. The single is now available through iTunes and Google Play and will be distributed to radio and promoted by Marco Promotions, part of the AristoMedia Group. Johnson describes the song as, “an anthem-sounding, upbeat, rock-influenced track.” The Georgia-native also commented, “The songs I heard as a child that combine elements of Country, Rock, and Alternative music had a huge influence on this song.”

“American Hearts” was produced by industry veteran, John Palmieri (Cole Swindell, Big & Rich, Brett Eldredge), who Johnson describes as “The perfect person to steer this musical ship.” The music on All We Ever Knew is a result of years of learning the musical ropes and developing skills as a performer and writer. “It’s what represents the kind of country music that I wanted my name attached to,” Johnson says proudly.  He added, “I really feel like these six songs paint the complete picture of the kind of music I want to make. We really sought out to come up with an original sound for this album that had just the right amount of edge, and tons of energy for live shows.  It all starts with good songs, and I think these songs are great.”

Johnson credits his move to Nashville as a major turning point in his development as an artist. “I had started writing songs while I was still living in Georgia and one of my co-writers said ‘Man, we should go up to Nashville and record some of these’.”  Shortly after, Johnson came to Nashville and stayed on a friend’s (Luke Combs) couch, and cut three songs in a week.

After immersing himself into the Nashville culture, Johnson decided to make the move to Music City permanently. When reflecting on his attraction to Nashville, Johnson said, “What I found is that the competition makes you so much better. I’ve seen my abilities and confidence as a performer and as a writer just skyrocket. I wish I would have moved here sooner.”

About Daniel E. Johnson:
Growing up in Thomson, Georgia, Daniel E. Johnson was surrounded by music. Johnson’s first experience with music was playing drums in a punk-rock band as a teenager. He lived less than a mile away from the local radio station WTHO.  This is where Johnson would often visit and occasionally perform on the station’s airwaves.  While attending college at Georgia Southern, Johnson developed a love for Country music. “I loved a lot of the artists from Georgia, like Alan Jackson,” he recalls. “But, what really got me hooked was the artists that were emerging at the time, such as Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, and The Zac Brown Band,” Johnson said. From that point on, Johnson developed his skills by performing around town. This eventually led to recording his first projects in Atlanta. Since then, Johnson who describes his music as “modern Country with a Southern Rock edge,” has had the chance to open for acts such as Luke Combs, Lee Brice, Craig Morgan and Cole Swindell and is poised to release his brand new EP, All We Ever Knew on iTunes on August 31, 2018, and the debut single, “American Hearts” on August 10, 2018.

Country Duo American Young Expands International Presence Following Festival Performance in China For Sold Out Crowd Of 20k Fans

American Young at Chengdu Auto Music Festival
Download Here

(Nashville, Tenn. – August 6, 2018) Curb Recording duo, American Young, recently performed at the Chengdu Auto Music Festival in China for a sold-out crowd of 20K fans. The duo, made up of Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson, was the only foreign act invited to perform at this year’s festival. This is a major feat for an American act to have an opportunity to perform at an event of this caliber.

Following their sold-out performance at Chengdu, American Young performed in Beijing at a banquet that was hosted in their honor. In attendance were Chinese artists, television executives, music producers and film directors, who took interest in collaborating with the duo. American Young’s positive impression earned them an invitation to return to China this fall.

“We couldn’t be more humbled and grateful for the opportunity to share communities, art, music, language, and friends with such an amazing country. Cheng Du is the big sister city to Nashville, while Beijing is our big brother! We are so blessed to be able to experience such a rich and vibrant Chinese culture through its music,” Said Osmunson.

The duo’s performance and appearance in China is an encouraging example of the growing cultural and arts exchange between the United States and China. There are 1.4 billion people in China eager to learn and appreciate American music, arts, and culture.

Formal relationships in the states have already begun with the Chinese entertainment industry. Todd Thomas of Curb Records/Brave World Agency has plans to bring other Curb Recording acts to China to begin establishing relationships of their own. During American Young’s visit, China’s Kelly Yu and Kevin Kong hosted the duo and assisted in expanding the cultural exchange between the United States and China. Additionally, a relationship has been formed in the U.S. with Trisha Lum and Nickie Lum Davis of TriNick Entertainment, Marvin Baker of Cafe Nashville and BGTV Direct who will continue to bring American music of all genres like Blue Grass, R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop to China.

American Young continues to have widespread international success in selling out venues throughout various countries around the world. In the last two years, the duo has toured all over the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Belgium, and Denmark. The Curb Recording artists are looking forward to releasing new music both nationally and internationally in the near future.

About American Young: American Young is comprised of songwriter/musician Kristy Osmunson, and songwriter/producer Jon Stone, who are complete opposites when it comes to personality, but come together to create hauntingly beautiful music stemmed solely from their own personal experiences. Both are established songwriters in their own right and wrote 11 out of the 12 tracks on their debut album, AY.

Kristy Osmunson, born and raised in Idaho, grew up playing the violin. She went from playing at honky-tonks to co-founding the electrifying fiddle-duo Bomshel and writing the Joey + Rory hit “Cheater, Cheater.” Osmunson was well on her way as a songwriter and solo artist before crossing paths with Stone.

Jon Stone, originally from Oregon, is country born and bred, for a while even working as a bull rider. Prior to founding American Young, he was a solo act turned successful producer/songwriter including Kenny Chesney’s “Seven Days,” Blake Shelton’s “Kiss My Country Ass,” and Rascal Flatts’ “Me and My Gang.

(Nashville, Tenn. – August 3, 2018) – Country duo, Indigo Summer, has released their next single “For Days,” which is now available through all streaming platforms, including Amazon MusicApple MusicSpotifyPandora and more. The song illustrates the story of two individuals who meet for the first time and eventually fall in love. The duo, comprised of Bryan Edwards and Hope Nix sing about the early stages of falling for someone and how those feelings develop into wanting to spend every minute with that person. Listen to “For Days” here.

“When Hope and I originally sat down earlier this year to write “For Days” we loved the idea and had a vision for what we wanted it to be. This song comes from a really honest place for both of us. We love remembering when we first started to fall for our significant others. We want to write songs that we believe in and that we feel our fans will connect with and I think “For Days” is one that they’ll fall in love with and keep on repeat!” Says Edwards.

The single was co-written by Bryan Edwards, Hope Nix, and David Thulin, who also produced the track. “When I met David Thulin and heard his previous projects, I knew that he was the right person to produce this song,” Says Edwards. The single was recorded at Three Studios in Spring Hill, TN. Nix added,“David definitely helped us push our vocals to unfamiliar territory. He encouraged me to sing some crazy high notes and I ended up surprising myself!”

Nix said, ”‘For Days’ is definitely the most ‘risky’ song we have released as a duo so far. The song’s strong pop vibe may come as a surprise to some of our fans. Having said that, taking risks is part of what makes us artists who continue to push ourselves creatively. We are so excited about this new single and hope that everyone will love it as much as we do!”

Indigo Summer is partnering with Stephen Byrum of Youngblood Films for the “For Days” music video. Edwards is extremely excited about the storyline that has been planned for the video. He stated,“it’s going to really get the message of the song across.” The music video is expected to be released in September 2018.

About Indigo Summer: Indigo Summer took country fans by storm with their self-titled debut album released in the Fall of 2017.  The album featured all original songs co-written by Bryan Edwards and Hope Nix. The full-length album added a fresh and invigorating sound to Country music. Since then, the duo also released a “bluesy” single, “Wishful Drinking” in the Winter of 2018. Meeting at a songwriter’s night at Nashville’s famed Hotel Indigo in December of 2010 (hence part of the duo’s name), Hope and Bryan quickly hit it off with their musical similarities. The two began writing together and from those sessions, the partnership blossomed to include performing and producing music together.  As solo artists, they have performed across the country and opened for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Charlie Daniels.  As songwriters, they have had numerous cuts and TV placements, including songs recorded by Jason Aldean and featured on the Discovery Channel.

California Country Rocker, Pearl Joins “Southern Rock Mantle,” Cody Jinks On Northeast and West Coast Tour Dates

“Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry” Continues Garnering Attention from Reviewers and Tastemakers

(Nashville, Tenn. – July 24, 2018) – California Country Rocker Pearl Aday announces new tour dates (included below) where she will open for Southern Rock Mantle, Cody Jinks. Pearl’s first performance with Cody Jinks is set for August 2, 2018, in Bakersfield, California and will continue through August 12, 2018, in Spokane, Washington. Joining these dynamic rockers on the Los Angeles and San Francisco shows will be Country artist, Ben Haggard, the youngest son of Country legend Merle Haggard. For the five pacific northwest shows, they will be joined by Texas Country Rocker, Red Shahan.

This announcement follows the recent release of Pearl’s critically acclaimed album Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry. Pearl joined forces with Jim Wilson, longtime bassist for Daniel Lanois, Emmylou Harris, and leader of Motor Sister and Mother Superior for this project.

A major theme for Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry stemmed from two central events in her life: her move to Topanga Canyon with her husband Scott and the birth of their son, Revel Young, now almost 7 years old. Pearl commented, “This album is seven years of love, tears, and emotion turned into music that makes me feel like I’m coming home. I’m so grateful and excited to have it done and ready to share with everyone. It’s an honor to have partnered up with Station House and The Orchard to bring this album to life. We’re ready to bring it. We’re ready to rock.”
